Subject: Positive Locking Strap Assembly

Products Affected: Miller 400 Helmets

 

Miller diving helmets manufactured after February 1, 2003 will ship with a Positive Locking Strap Assembly, Part # 925-175. This assembly is also available as a Kit (Part # 925-170) that will retrofit all previous Miller 400 helmets.

The assembly consists of two straps which are attached to the locking cams.

 

 

When the helmet is on the diver and the cams are closed,

the strap buckles are pulled forward and snapped together, locking the cams shut.
